Bottle (from SIP). Dark brown head, tasted black. Aroma is roast, chocolate, malt, vanilla. Flavor is sweet and bitter, slight sourness, roast, malt, vanilla, coffee. Finish has some booze burn, but goes down well for 13% beer. Overall: solid. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout on 07 Apr 2018 at 11:14. Bottle shared. Thanks to japppp for the bottle. Black with dark beige to light brown head. Sweet chocolate, bourbon, vanilla, soft dry old wood, light seaweed (?), fudge, cognac, light grapes. Quite sweet with present bitter booze. Over medium bodied with low carbonation with thin alcoholic finish.

Bottle shared thanks to Maakun, at Gekke Geit. Dark brown with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Butterscotch. Bourbon, vanilla, touch of maple or is that all these guys talking about it? Touch of tobacco. Big sweet and bitter, touch of salt. Full body and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout on 22 Feb 2018 at 15:31 - Score: 8

Bottle, courtesy of EuroSanta jappp, many thanks! Pours black with a brown finegrained head. Aroma is chocolate, some booze, coffee, bourbon and vanilla, sugar syrup. Body is heavy and strong, sweet and boozy. Too much on the sugar side though, not adding too many complex flavours. Chocolate and nuts are there, vanilla too, but that's about it. Good, but a bit too much on the diabetes side.

Black beer with very small head. Aroma has strong bourbon touch with vanilla and oak. Also spices and chocolate. Taste has also bourbon with vanilla and oak at the beginning, following with malts, dried fruits and spices. The end is dry and bitter with alcohol. Full body. Sweet and oily, but not too sweet. Very nice, one of the best Finnish beers so far.

Bottle sample at Pyynikin tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Black, brown foam. Great aroma with lots of vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, oak, roast, some dark fruits. Sweet flavor, a bit of warming alcohol, bitter finish. Full-bodied, rounded. Great.
