Bottle from the Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Gushed all over the table, my clothes and all over the floor. Really poor. The aroma is herb veggie. The flavour is light bitter with a light watery veggie, light citrus palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Truly awful. There should be a law against selling beer like this!

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark orange color, medium sized off-white head. Not a lot of aroma. Taste malts, bitter, a hint of hay. Average to medium body and carbonation. Nothing wrong with this beer, just not very exciting.

Bottle @ benzai. Slightly hazy amber to brown colour with a small off-white head. Smells quite sweet, malts, slightly smoked. Tastes sweet, malty, not bad but I can’t say a lot about this beer. Medium body, soft carbo.

Bottled @ de Prael, medium sample, served in a shaker. Slight hazy light brown color, short head. Aroma is slight fruity, some caramel, light hoppy. Bit bitter in taste, bit sweet. It doesnt get the English feel, because it is carbonated. More of an amber ale now. Ok stuff, nothing special though.

On tap at brewery on 14/06/2014. Orange/Amber colour whit a medium off-white head. Aroma is floral and fruity (specially orange and peach). The taste is very fruity with predominance of orange and malty. Light body and medium carbonation. Next one please!

-edit typo’s

Mid-brown colour. Toasty aroma. Flavour has good balance of malts and light, floral hop. Good session beer.

(Draught at De Prael Proeflokaal, Amsterdam, 1 March 2014) Amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with toast, dried fruit, apricots and bread. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of toasty malt, apricots, grain and a certain earthy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

At the brewery: Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is of caramel malts and light earthy hops. Taste is mostly malty and a tad bit bitter. Somewhat carbonated. Slightly hoppy finish. It was OK.
