Das belebend vitalisierende Engel Kristallweizen ist sehr spritzig und erfrischend. Ein weicher, schlanker Körper und der harmonische Nachtrunk runden den Geschmack dieses obergärigen Weizenbieres ab.

Clear medium deep golden, good frothy white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma wheat, sweet malt, yeast, banana, light citrus, cloves. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, wheat, citrus, banana, yeast, cloves notes. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, wheaty sweetbitter finish, light peppery on the tongue, decent weizen.

15-09-20 // 500ml bottle from Heinrich3000. Shared in Manderscheid, hiking trip. Kristallweizen is life. Clear golden beauty ;) - dont take this rating text to serious, local group inside joke.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from local 'toom', best before May 2019. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy aroma of banana and clove. Quite sweet, malty, rather yeasty-spicy taste of banana, clove and hints of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy and a bit metallic finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Not very good.

Bottle shared at THT July. Clear golden with small white head. Smells a little dusty and weird. Light sweet overripe banana, sweet malts and dough, light bready, caramel, pear, soft herbs, again a little pancake note. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Clear deep golden liquid. Average white head. Aroma: malty, unpleasantly phenolic. Light to medium body. Taste: banana, clove, a pungent phenolic note, again. Virtually no bitterness. Misses my tastes.

500ml bottle from Pinta’s in Moscow. Pours clear gold with with a large, long-lasting white head. Aroma is bread, sweet malt, yeast, bananas. Taste is sweet and fruity, marzipan, light sourness. Pretty average, but still nice to try an example of this hard-to-find style.
