Who are you?
My name is Legion, for I’m not one thing but many.
Experience: To enjoy this beer, you need cognac glass and few friends. As there is almost no carbonation fleeting head disappears quickly and leaves into the glass amber drink that resembles cognac or whiskey rather than beer.
If the beer comes from the fridge, then now is the proper time to swap first stories with your friends as this beer requires some time to breathe before you want to take the first sip. Excessive alcohol aroma slowly yields for real character of the beer. Toffee, homemade hard caramel candy, distant memories of cognac barrel, something sweet and fruity from Jurançon white wine barrel
Flavor starts with the alcohol burn that is familiar to cognac or whiskey aficionado and rarely exists in beer. Unlike strong alcohol, the ice-distilled beer shows the thick and sticky body. Everything, that aroma promised, is present in the flavor. But there is more. Prunes, soaked in cognac, raisins, sourness from dried apricots, vanilla.
Aftertaste is dominated by tannins leached from barrels during long maturation.
Describing this beer is an elusive task as each sip adds new nuances and thoughts. And it needs time. And it needs time. Now, this friends part becomes essential. Swapping few stories between the sips makes this beer so much more delicious.ˇ

Draught @ TCBW’18. Rated on 5.5.2018
Aroma has sweet malt, caramel and toffee. Flavour has sweet malt, toffee and very sharp alcohol in the finish. A very sweet toffee candy with way too much alcohol. Unbalanced.

Sampled draft @ TCBW 2018. Amber orange, little head. Nose is pure cloying cough syrup & booze. Extremely alcoholic taste, even more than 20 % ABV, cough syrup, vodka, honey. Iew, cough syrup boost juice, nope.
