Sampled @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Unclear typical barley wine color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, dark caramelized sugars, a bit boozy I guess which is unnecessary imo, figs coming through nicely. A bit like a nice Quadrupel but with 1 or 2% ABV too much. Ok beer. 8-3-6-3-14.

Süßlich getreidiger, deutlich alkoholischer Beginn. Moderat süffig, der Alkohol wird stärker. Unrunder aufmüpfiger Nachgeschmack. 9/7/7/8/7//7

Borefts pre-tasting, 2018. Poured a murky, copper colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel malt, boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a rich toffee malt, boozy alcohol, big fig palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Too boozy for me.

Bottle shared at pre-Borefts tasting. Thanks for sharing all! Murky brown with light dull beige head. Figs, alcohol, lots of brown sugar, lots more alcohol, sick, paper, plums, sweet malts. Like a more alcoholic quadruple. Unite sweet and alcoholic bitter. Almost full bodied with lots of alcohol. Noooot my thing.
