bottle from beer planet. bottled 2006, #98280 cloudy red, smooth pink head aroma of sourness, cherries, leather, sweet sugary notes. The sugary notes are not that strong, and the rest is very nicely balanced and okay complex. flavor is very sour, sour cherries, citrussy notes, clean taste, really really good this one. A very sour kriek, and who can ask for more than that. Very refreshing. Tasted 5-6 years after botteling.

2006, 375ml bottle pours a hazy, rosy red with a clumpy, pink head. Nose has plenty of band aid, earthy, horsey, raspberry, herbal, cherries. Flavor is sweet, tart, cheesy, cherry, raspberry. Full bodied, tart finish.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Light red, nice head. Starts sourish from the beginning, also a bit moldy. Fruity-cherry notes, not too intense. Finish not as fruity as the beginning, still well balanced sourish. Nice!

bottle, Dank nach Bochum! Slightly hazy red-brown colour, small head. Sour and dry fruity nose. Dry mouthfeel, astringent, acid with hints of wood. Nice cherry character, but the acidity id too much for my liking. Not my cup of beer.

Small bottle. Medium to deep crimson with a low, lacy head. Looks like there’s a lot of cherries in there! Acetic, lactic aroma with cherry, leather, and almonds. Creamy, with flavors of cherries and nuts followed by a quite intense sourness. Not the most complex lambic, but clean, with a rather dry finish, and great cherry flavor. Slightly heavy body.

Bottle. Dark purple color with a very thin off-white head. Fruity aroma. Flavor is very sour, fruity, starts is very acidic while finish is slightly bitter. Medium carbonation. Not bad at all, little bit acidic.

2006 bottle at Brugse Beertje. Dark red, fluffy pink head, great lacing. Aroma of cherries, vanilla, citrus. Sweet start, quickly changing to tart grapefruit, slightly dry finish. Not much funk. Decent but not special.

Bottle: Poured a dark reddish color lambic with a rather large pink foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sour cherries is dominant but with more acidic notes then anticipated. Taste is a closer to actual lambic then I would have expected and a lot more closer tot he real thing then their regular brand. Oak, sour cherries with no syrup and tart and acidic notes makes a refreshing drink. Well done but unfortunately not available oversea.

Bottle. From a trade with bierkoning. Thanks Edo! Clear red with a big stable pink head. Aroma of funky bretty cherries, citrus, some sweaty notes and light soapy hints. Sour flavor with cherries, lemony notes, a bit of pomegranate, oak and some bretty character. Finishes with astringent hints. Silky mouthfeel. A good Kriek.
