At 't Poatersgat, Bruges. Pours hazy golden with a big, frothy, white head that leaves some lacing. The aroma contains grain, malt, apple, cow fodder, barley and yeast. It tastes light malty sweet and light to medium hoppy/yeasty bitter; grainy, dry finish with lingering yeast. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Too grainy, yeasty... unconvincing.

*Old rating, best before 31.01.01. Mild-weiches Bier. Gewürze, gelbe Früchte, ein bisschen alkoholisch. Nett.

Hazy honey golden colour, fair frothy white head, short lasting, thin layer remains. Aroma bread, yeast, orange, candy sugar, citrus, floral hops, hint of cinnamon. Taste moderate sweet, slightly bitter, light sour notes. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, smooth sweetbitter finish, bit peppery/gingery, mild alcoholic.

Another Belgian tripel. Nice tasty beer, but I’ve had it so many times before. There isn’t a lot of variance in this style usually, this one is no exception.
