Pours a slightly hazy golden with a nice white head. Aroma of fruits, wheat, yeast and hops. Sweet malty flavour. This is a nice hoppy tripel.

Heel goed.

Bouteille: Golden, hazy, medium-sized persistent creamy white head, traces of alcohol in the malty, fruity (grapes?) and yeasty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied and a bit fizzy; lingering sweet-bitter fruity, yeasty and also alcoholic finish. Not the greatest triple...

Blonde beer with a big frothy head. Creamy, citric aroma. Sweet, hoppy, citric flavor with just a hint of smokiness. Nice beer, maybe a bit onedimensional. Re-rate: other label, 8,5%. Probably another recipe, too. Big frothy head. Hoppy aroma with a hint of pepper and cinnamon. Strong hopbitter flavor with cinnamon, pepper and pear. Peppery, bitter finish. Big, lively and complex.

Rating from memory, this classic I drank a bunch of times at De Paas. Pours golden with white head, has typical Belgian yeast taste profile on top of grainy and light citrusy aroma. Just a very average tripel basically. Can hardly believe I have not rated this before. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ne Flierefluiter Westelse Tripel on 19 Mar 2019 at 22:28 - Score: 6. 33cl bottle (bottled 05/2017, BBD 04/05/2020). Who's a naughty boy then? Drank on 13/05/2018 in de Garre, Brugge.Amber body, white crown and on the sweet side. Yeasty aroma and initial taste, malts come into play mid-sip, some light fruity notes also. Interesting and different to most Abbey Tripel's I have had before.
