Barista Chocolate Quad biedt duidelijke tonen van karamel, toffee en chocolade. Qua geur en smaak past dit degustatiebier dan ook perfect in het rijtje van de quadrupels. De aroma’s van de geroosterde mouten, de donkere kleur en de stevige schuimkraag sluiten eerder aan bij porter en stout, twee Britse bierstijlen. Een uniek bier dus dat iedere bierliefhebber moet proeven.

330ml bottle. Pours dark brown with a large beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, chocolate. Taste is sweet, dark fruits, chocolate (with some bitterness), caramel, brown sugar, subtle spice. Chocolate a tad synthetic at first but overall all seems to work out fine.

33cl bottle from hopt.it, France. Pours dark brown, elegant, with fine light brown foam. Aroma is intensely chocolate, molasses, caramel, nutty. Body is fairly dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is markedly sweet, with a pretty long final.

Tasted at BBT 2/10/2021. Dark brown with hugeness beige head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, nuts. Taste, nougat, dark chocolate, cocoa cake. Warming alcohol. Nice one.

Brownish black with a fluffy head. Aroma of coffee malt. Flavour is burnt caramel, raisins on a coffee malt fizzy yeast base.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy coffee brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of coffee and chocolate, with touches of malt. Sweetish flavour of the same ingredients, with estery notes and rouches of fruit. Chocolatey aftertaste with notes of malt and touches of roast. Decent, but there is so mich chocolate that it takes a teddy bear to really love this beer.
