Gorse flowers, known for their coconut aroma, are transformed by our house saison cultures in to something much more than the sum of it's parts.
The base beer is full bodied, and gently sour, and those coconut flavours, alongside the english and european hops, have turned truly tropical, with comparisons made to pineapple juice.

375ml bottle. Minimally milky, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Mellow malty aroma with a wheaty touch, cautious fruity hints of yellow berries, unripe yellow stone fruit, mild herbal-spicy, minimally salty overtones. Taste is minimally dry, minimally tart, fruity, minimally woody, hints of unripe peach, unripe yellow stone fruit in general, a minimally wheaty touch with cautious residual sweetness, a herbal hoppy and salty spicy touch as well; tart-ish fruity and minimally dry, woody finish. Very mild, homogeneous. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Beer Gonzo. Pours lightly unclear gold with a small, fading white foam head. Lovely beer, nice lemony tartness, a bit of salt, wheat flakes, soft yeast, funk, melon. Light to medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Quenching finish, more citric-acidic tang, lemon, background sea and wheat. Very nice.

Tap at wildeman. Hazy golden with not much head. Sour grain, citrus fruity and light herbal. Light sweet, over medium sour. Medium body and low carbonation. Kind of like the weird herbal note. --- Beer merged from original tick of Yonder Ophelia on 03 Jul 2019 at 16:42 - Score: 7. Original review text: lci
