A primeira Petroleum você nunca esquece!

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color. If you dig in the aroma you get nice elements of old cheese, dark malts. The flavor is very roasted, some coffee, light sweetness, a bit sour in the final from these dark malts. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out medium toasted malt and oats. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of alcohol, oats and toasted malt. Quite robust, boozy but in a good way, and oaty. Very nice stuff.

35cl via trade with Marko. BB 29/10/2017, batch# L08.

Bottle @ home via trade with Marlos during GABF. Deep black appearance with initially a large brown head but it dissipates pretty quickly. Aroma has some anise, Belgian chocolate, moderate roast, some dark fruit, and nice roasty malts. Body isn’t overly thick but it is pretty oily. Some piney, moderately bitter hops nicely balance the rich malt. Tons of dark chocolate and roasted grains. Light anise. Clean and very easy to drink for the high abv. Dangerously smooth. A pleasure to drink.
