Once we obtained the original WAKANDA we aged a part of it in bourbon barrels, obtaining an even richer and full-bodied beer, in which to the aromatic profile of the former one were added, besides the obvious notes of bourbon, those of vanilla, dates and dried fruit, coming from the wooden passage.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Black, tan foam. Roast, chocolate, vanilla, fruitiness, some phenolic smokiness, some oxidation, sweetish and umami.

33cl Bottle at B2 Burgerbar. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of bourbon, liquorice, oak, hint of aspartame. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, aspartame, bourbon, liquorice, roast, bitter finish, some dark chocolate. Flavours are nice but this lacks a whole lot of body to be great, it’s almost thin even at 10%. Too bad because it cost me a small fortune.
