Frisk og lett. Kort.

In de tuin uit een flesje, gekregen van Jan B. Licht troebel, gouden kleur. Wit schuim. Prima weizen smaak.

Fles 33cl thuis. Tarwe, klein zuurtje, banaan, redelijk kruidig, kruidnagel, zoeten, wat yeasty, fruitig. (5-11-2023).

Donkergeel troebel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht friszuur, licht bitter en fruitig met iets van citrus. lijkt niet echt op een Weizen, maar desondanks wel te drinken. Als Weizen wat mij betreft niet geslaagd.

0.33 l bottle from 'Slijterij Gérard', best before March 2022. Hazy, amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, clove, some honey and a touch of vanilla. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy taste of lots of clove, banana and some honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy and a little chalky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Weizen!

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel geel bier met een stevig beige/wit schuim. Het heeft een tarwe achtige en gistachtige geur met hints van banaan. De smaak is zoetig, banaan en kruidnagel in de afdronk.

Misty medium golden colour, tall frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma wheat, banana, clove, yeast. Taste medium sweet, light bitter and sourish notes, wheat, yeast, light banana, clove. Aftertaste as in taste, rather thin, bit cardboard, lingering peppery finish, light body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Not bad at all, refreshing, nice.

33cl Bottle at the Blacksmith. Murky golden colour, white head. Aroma of nutmeg, some clove, quite spicy, peppery, wheat, yeasty, banana. Flavour follows, quite some yeasty bitterness, spicy. Light bodied. Decent.
