Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 5B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L050154 (BBF 08/18). AROMA: medium-low oxidized aroma (cardboard and dried grass). faint malty-sweet background. APPEARANCE: gold color and clear. medium-low white head with average retention. TASTE: low malty-sweet notes (honey-like), followed by medium-high hop flavor (herbal) and slightly oxidized. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish that persists. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: a Kolsch showing hop oxidation and a bit overly bitter (altough its below style threshold at 30 IBU). Needs re-tasting.

Bottle at Hamburgueria B&B. Hazy golden body with no head or lacing. Low carbonation. Aroma of straw and orange. Flavour of grain and a hint of grassy hops. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Clean, simple and refreshing.
