Sampled @ Pint Meibockfestival 2008. Hazy amber/blond, white head. Nose of malts, some hops. Taste is malty, hoppy, but too thin. One dimensional beer.

Bottled (thanks tbone_). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is spices, yeast and some slight hints of alcohol and grain. Flavour is salty, yeasty and a bit malts and alcohol. Not really much bock in it, but still pleasant to drink,

(Bottle 33 cl) Golden, almost orangey beer - slightly cloudy. Rather soft and malty with a sweetish, honeyish touch. Very discreet bitterness. Solid Bock - if not exactly thrilling. Top-fermented. 061102

(Aged sample) Amber with a slight veiling; thin white rim. Little nose: dusty, faint aromatic plants. Sweet taste, quite some alcohol, nutty, crème de noix, and a faint flavour as for praline (Belgian chocolates) filling. Rather burning mouth sensation, but watery texture alongside. Phoo. Not very convincing. Thin, rather like a strong lager attempt with top-fermentation.
