24th September 2008. Cloudy orange beer. Slightly citrus at the start followed by a malty-wheaty mid with a little spice at the end. Not bad but nothing exciting.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit - peaches primarily, dusty hops, and some caramel. The flavor spicy, malt, yeast, alcohol, fruits - a bit cloying, leading to a dry malty finish.

Bottle, 7%. Yeasty aroma. Cloudy orange colour with lots of small yeast bits. Small stable white head. Thin mouthfeel. Bready flavour, some old yeast. Only a little alcohol to balance. Disappointing.

33cl bottle; Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Sweet pale malty aroma with notes of biscuits and honey. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a calm carbonation. Robust biscuity pale malty base, slightly grainy with notes of honey and subtle fruity (pear) accents; sweet malt-accented and slightly fruity finish with a tinge of alcohol and shy hoppy notes. Likeable brew. 23.IX.09

Cloudy, golden to orangeycoloured, gushing, huge beige head that quite quickly collapses with a good lace; sweetish-fruity (oranges, almonds) nose with a light grainy-malty background and a tinge of yeast; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; sweetish-fruity finish, supported by some hops. More a Belgium Ale than a Heller Bock..........
