As "Saense Herfst". Aroma of malts, raisins, candy sugar. Flavour is malty and sugary, medium to heavy sweetness. A bit too sugary for my taste.

Bottle bought as "Herfstbokkie" but undoubtedly the same beer, Dark brown color. Caramel aroma. Caramelly sweet, roasty flavor with a hint of licorice. Pleasant drinker. 6 3 7 3 12 = 3.1 2013 version, Saense Herfst. Brewed @ Anders. Hasn’t improved since its move to Belgium. Brown color. caramel and cellar notes in the aroma. Malty sweet, caramelly flavor with sulphury notes.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, resin hop. The flavour is medium sweet with a bubbly, sweet mineral earthy, watery, light metallic palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Too many bubbles, two light and no backbone. A poor beer.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Malz, Karamell, rote Früchte. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, rote Früchte, leicht würzig.

Tnx Edo. Bottled 330ml. Half gusher. Dark brown color, huge beige head. Aroma has candy sugar, herbs (minty). Medium-bodied. Sweetish. Raisins (candy sugar), rye bread, light hops. Quite typical Dutch sweetish ale bock. Pleasant, maybe even a bit underrated here.

On tap at the Bockbier Festival in Amsterdam. Pours a clear amber with a near white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of bread and smoke with a hint of underlying raisin. Flavor has a note of raisin bread up front with a hint of smoke in the finish.

Ordinary Dutch bock beer. Is from a small brewer, but tastes like one of the big ones. Sweet.

33cl bottle @ home, bought at ABC Beers The Hague. Nice dark red color, small beige head that diminishes quickly. Smell malts, caramel, lightly raisins and nuts. Taste malts, lightly sweet, some fruitpeel, dark fruits. Low to medium body, low to medium carbonation. Dislike the aftertaste, but could have been worse.
