Draught @ BT, 24/02/18 - Barrel Aged Pale Ale. Deep golden (or light amber) color, slightly hazy. Big dense (almost) white head with long retention and good lacing. Aroma's: sweetish, fruity, a bit yeasty. Retronasal it's sweetish, bitter, fruity, maybe a hint of wood. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, with light fruity sourness. Medium bodied. Low carbonation, easily drinkable. Long finish, with an astringent bitterness in the back of the mout, and ash. Not much barrel to be detected.

(Draught at Butcher's Tears, Amsterdam, 28 July 2017) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of orange, apricots and some oak wood. Fruity, malty taste with orange, apricots, caramel, some oak wood and a balanced spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
