Bottle from brewery webshop. Rioja barrel-aged Baltic style Stout vintage 2017, according to the label. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Overwhelming red wine, some roasted malt and hints of coffee. Taste: Again a bit overwhelming but not disturbing red wine, roasted malt and hints of coffee in the background. Light wine-like tartness, light to moderate sweetness and very light bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry-ish finish. Ok.

(Draught at Foeders, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2018) Hazy amber colour with frothy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, dried fruit, apricots and spices. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, apricots, tart hints of oak wood, spices (cinnamon) and a mild citric bitterness. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Confusing. Had to ask if I really got the correct beer, but apparently I had. Doesn't really remind me of a Baltic porter, but it was tasty and quite interesting. Nice one. (Checked Untappd as well and all the ratings from Foeders say the same, however not the ones from other places. I'll leave it here for now.)

Draft @ BT on their 4th anniversary. Black color. Dense beige head with good lacing. Aroma’s: sweetish, lactose. Retronasal it’s sweetish, light vanilla, woody. Flavor is moderate sweet and a bit fruity dry. Medium bodied. Finishes with wood, tar, light bitter. Nice, but not as good as the base beer.
