Sample at the tap room/brewery. Clear yellow-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

On tap at brewery. Aroma has a nice medium hop aroma with some light pale male character. Nice pine character with balanced citrus and a bit of green hop aroma. Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head with great retention and lacing. Flavor starts with a light cracker malt flavor but quickly becomes hippy with lots of pine and citrus. Hop flavor has some green character and spiciness to it as well. Moderately strong bitterness with lingering resin and a touch of pale malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall another nice beer from Avery. Lots of hop character with a nice balanced malt backbone.

On tap at Avery. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is fresh grassy hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a rich smooth nettle hoppy palate. A very smooth palate actually and a perfect session ale.
