The middle of September found us hanging out with our friends from Brighton, England: the team over at Lost + Found. On the outskirts of autumnal Saint Petersburg, our first Russian-British collaboration was born. Taking notes from our colleagues’ expertise on keeping IPAs juicy, we didn’t use hops like we normally do. Instead, we unleashed the power of its natural freshness and lupulin in a whirlpool along with a couple rounds of dry hopping. In the end we got a dry, hoppy nectar with exquisite bitterness saturated right through with the citrus and fruit flavours of Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado and Galaxy. For its name we turn to the magic of numbers - the year of our hometown’s founding: 1703. Drink exactly at 17:03.

Can sourced from Beerdome and shared at home - hazy orange with a white head. Sweet fruity and malty with a cross section fruity notes, malty backing, medium body, resinous piney tad herbal hoppy finish with just a touch of bitterness.

27th October 2019 Can. Hazy neipa at 8.2%? Sigh! Hazy gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has a decent fine minerally crispness. Smooth and pale malts bring a reasonable amount of sweetness. Bountiful cooling piney hops. A light floral sweetness into mellow floral citrus. Light finish. Quite drinkable but missing an essential pizzaz.
