"Cryo hops" more or less refers to a process of processing fresh hops that uses very cold temps which shatters the hops and hop oils resulting in an extremely fresh hop aroma. This beer is basically our Ninja vs Unicorn Double IPA but with a cryo hop twist! 8.0% ABV

16 ounce can. Medium gold color. Pillowy white head. Spotty lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit and melon. Flavor leans toward, grapefruit, orange, pine, papaya and cracked pink peppercorns. Mildly complex with some warming alcohol. Dry, bitter finish.

A tall boy can that was acquired from the folks at Half Time. This evening I have my New Belgium globe glass ready for the pour. The view is a hazy, dark gold liquid finished with a light skim of wholly white foam. I smell tropical, varnish and a touch of pine. The drink, well, it is okay but not going through any unplowed territory. Tangerine, grain, pineapple, some grapefruit and crackers. Somewhat sweet with a small bitterness at the end. I know, it is what it is, but should be NE style.

Can from Harvest. Pours a clear straw gold with 2 fingers of white foam that lingers. Big dank blueberry aromas with pineapple, mikan and papaya. More of the same on the palate with a dry, pithy note that leads into a similar finish. Killer stuff.

19/IV/22 - 1Pt. can @ home, BB: n/a, canned: III/29/22 (2022-386) Thanks to Rian for sharing the can!
Clear blond gold beer, big creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lovely, lots of citrus, fruity, tropical fruits, very nice, juicy, a bit dank, piny. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice and fruity, lots of citrus, grapefruit, a good bitterness, piny, lovely! Aftertaste: dank, fruity, tropical fruits, very dank, hoppy, resinous, lovely!
Piney, bitter, wonderful. Find myself really appreciating the og West coast IPA beers. Not tired of the haze craze, but need more variety. Also, 25 beers away from 5k. Need to figure out what #5,000 should be.... Any suggestions style wise?

473 ml can. Pours nice clear golden, some white bubbles on the top. Nose is brisk, good hop oils, dry and resiny. Fruits under control. Tastes brisk as well, malty base has medium bitterness, great hop resin character, clear and dank. Pretty nice clean hoppy-resiny IPA that feels really easy to drink, abv is nowhere to be seen.

Draught at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Shared with Finn. Remaining white head, hazed golden body, spotty lacing. Appealing mango and hints of dried fruits on the nose. Mango, apricot and oily hops to the taste buds. Smooth bittersweet ending. Fine depth. Nice. (Tromsø 27.09.2019).
