Featuring one of the new wave of hop breeds accentuating the fruit-forward characteristics of North American native hops, Ekuanot is yet another answer to brewers craving distinctly North American hops. Paired with the intensely-fruity previously-named Brett Trois (actually it is wild Saccharomyces), this delivers layers of mango, melon and papaya.

On a flight at the brewpub on 12th August 2025. Almost clear golden body, white wispy topping. Fruity and bitter from start to finish, more hoppy than malty, late piney/earthy flavour compliment the fruitiness.

Pretty well balanced Bretta IPA. Florals and some lime. Clear golden pour with decent head. Bitter end. The wild yeast of this is light, and the beer comes off overall more just like a Belgian IPA. Can.

Can, 0.473l, courtesy of CanCrusher. Aroma of mango, citrus, cereals and flowers. Pours clear golden color with medium sized soapy off-white head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing ripe tropical fruity and citrusy, following is herbal, medicinal, grainy and a bit wild, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Wolf in a sheep’s clothing…

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick patches of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready caramel malt, pineapple, mango, honeydew, apricot and piney hops. Sweet fruity flavour of biscuit malt, caramel, orange peel, peach, apricot, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, honeydew and piney hops in a dry, spicy yeast finish. Medium body with a sticky, oily texture and average carbonation. Delicious and easy to drink. A world class Wild IPA.

Nice white foam on top of an okay gold body, good juicy hops on the nose with a hint of oil. Flavour is very fine juicy hops, well balanced. Mouthfeel is great, good oiliness mixed with a refreshing side. A very nice IPA, a local standout.
