A small bottle from the off-licence opposite Jing Mei fire station. Aroma: very fresh yeast, slightly piney. Appearance: clear honey amber, lots of bottom up aeration, gargantuan rocky head. Palate: full-bodied and rather oily, softish carbonation; smooth finish, warming afterburn. Taste: medium-sweet with some sour notes, rock candy mixed with sherbet, booze is smooth. Bit too sweet for me, but pretty good nonetheless.

Optisch sattes Gold im Glas, ordentlich Schaum. In der Nase hefig, floral, würzig. Im Trunk setzt sich fort, blumig, dezent alkoholisch, passt.

.75L bottle. Just kind of your average fruity spicy belgian ale - nothing to get excited about here.

Bottle. Great beer. Taste was slightly hoppy, slightly spicy. Color golden. Pleasant aroma. Good stuff.

Flowery sweet, aroma of ripe (dark) fruits, candy. Light spicyness (coriander?). This is an easily drinkable beer despite its hefty alcohol content. It actually caught me by surprise. Don’t let the lame faux Robin Hood archer dude picture on the bottle turn you off, this is a nice beer if you enjoy sweet Belgian strong ales.

Крепкий эль по вкусу и самой бутылки напоминает пиво Duvel. Не заметил какого то специфического вкуса. Среднее пиво для ужина. Не питкое

Tap at La Bota, Leiden:Goldenhazy strong ale like the famous Duvel, but much sweeter and not so heavily carbonated like its famous counterpart.
