Draft pour at Frankies pizza. Pours a cloudy orange color with a foamy head. Aroma and flavor are very basic to the style, though not bad at all. Has a sweet side, spicy, and even a tiny bit sour, which was less ordinary. Overall a tasty beer

22oz bomber pours with a amber colored body that supports a tan head of tall foam. The aroma offers up some malts, a thin bit of roasted malts, a dash of toffee, a sliver of pine hops, a touch of dank onion like hops and a biscuit malt sort of thing. Overall there’s enough hops going on to keep the varied maltiness at bay. The taste has a distinctive Arragant Bastard Ale to it, which I enjoy. I get roasted malts, some pine hop goodness and then a mild dank onion hop spiciness. Nice! It has a pleasing malty to roasted malt base, a good dose of pine hop bitterness and smooth hop flavor. I dig the double rainbow.

Rich hazy muddied brown coloured body with a thin deep tan head about two centimetres thick. Aroma of earth, pungent dry and herbal hops, some alcohol and a few hints of sugars. Medium-bodied; Great balance of hops and dry malt with an emphasis on the hops - very nicely layered throughout with some good sweetness and twangs of earth. Aftertaste is nice with a bitterness flavour from the hops and some smooth sugars at the tail end. Overall, a nice beer with an emphasis on the hops and a good balance throughout! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon a few hours ago on 07-December-2013 for US$4.99 sampled in my hotel room here in Portland just an hour or two later on 07-December-2013.

Bomber shared with brenn79. Bought this at Super 1 in CDA, ID. Aroma is perfumy, floral, caramel. Pours cloudy orange with a dissipating off-white head. Taste is bittersweet and tangy, nice and hoppy. Carbonation is average, body medium. Tasty beer. I really wasn’t expecting too much given the nodescript label.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy dark amber with a slight beige head. Aromas of sweet malt and perhaps treacle. Near full body. Flavor is malty enough to approach barleywine. No particular heat, but my brain thinks it found alcohol. It’s definitely bitter, but so balanced that it’s almost neutral. So it’s hoppy bready bitter and other things. There’s a whole lot of ingredients in this stuff. Not a double IPA in ABV, a double IPA in flavor.
