Sweet. Not much sign of waffles, honey. And imp stout.

473ml can from Beerma Kanda. Pours black brown with nice bubbly brown foam on the top. Even stays for a bit, otherwise not that highly carbonated. Nose is a bit harsh, some chocolate and cocoa, but also some paint and rougher Sourish roast notes there. Taste is sweet, maybe some waffles but too tart for a good pastry stout. Plastic notes are not making it easier to drink - although there is some cocoa coming out in the finish, finishing like liquid chocolate with a touch of leathery smoke. Was expecting something more substantive here, did not really meet my expectations.

4 oz. draft at EBF, Boston. Thank god they had 100 pounds of Nelson because this is trash. Bready base with vanilla, fudgy chocolate, lactose sugar, vanilla, lactose sugar and….. yep vanilla. Absolutely sickly / cloying sweet.
01/15/2019, mostly honey and lactose notes, hints of maple, wafting waffles over it. Interesting experiment, bit thin, wish it was mostly waffles. At room temperature you get more waffle but still wished for more. Still tasty, higher expectations but good
