Blend 37. Pours clear blonde, no real head. Scent is strong, very tart, oaky. Taste is sharp, very tart, dry, oaky. Typical US , unbalanced sour (for the sake of being sour) . Fruityness is fairly low (bottle mentions 'twice the amount of fruit we normaly use' ... yeah....

WeWork tasting (20.01.2019). Pours creamy orange and just some white bubbles. Tart nose, soft fruits and quite acidic chalky overall feel. Tastes fruity, tart-acidic, apricots and some vinegar, quite intense vinegar. Funky. Acidic and well, for me a bit difficult to drink a lot of this.

Big brett sour nose with big peaches, oak and brett. Super sour with tons of peaches. Rip the enamel off your teeth. Fucking massive sourness with peaches. I like it a lot but it’s not subdued at all.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is very apricot forward with some lighter oak notes. Hints of tropical fruit and citrus. Apricot character is really strong and kind of has a bit of a sulfur-like note to it, maybe from the pits? Pours a hazy, orange with a small, thick, white head that recedes quickly to the edges and disappears. No lacing or legs. Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sharpness to it. Some light oak and hints of funk. Rather strong apricot notes, but not over the top. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer with a lot of apricot character, but for some reason it has a bit of an odd note to it in the aroma. Otherwise, its the typical Rare Barrel base, which really limits the complexity of the beer.

Bottle share, thanks to Steve. Golden orange color with a small white head. Heavy fruit aroma, apricot and peach, some funky bugs. The fruit stays throughout the taste, apricot and peaches, offering a little sweet reprieve from the sour. Heavy sour and funky bugs, a little bit of oak. Advertised to be like Map of the Sun amped up and it works.
