12 oz can from Happy Harry’s in ND. I guess I should’ve checked the bottom of the can. Best Before 2/22/17. Doh! Maybe it will help it taste more authentically Mexican. Aroma is cereal grains, corn, Fun Dip stix. Pours slightly hazy golden with a thick white head with good retention; leaves patterns of lace. Taste is lightly sweet, finishing with a hint of dryness. Crisp, clean and refreshing. Doesn’t taste outdated one bit. It also doesn’t taste like any Mexican beer I’ve ever had. It has a full mouthfeel and lots of flavor. I could drink this all day long. Wish I could get it in my area.

Can. Golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of husky grain, DMS, light floral and grassy hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Raw grain and light vegetable taste. Sweet. Hops are AWOL.

12 oz. can, from the can. Pine sap and butterscotch on the nose, with some corn and straw. Syrupy sweet flavor up front, and a stiff bitterness. Light to medium body, sticky, clingy, and hard. This is an aggressively hoppy lager, and not my forte.

Tap at Freshcraft. Pale gold, clear, with a fine head. Grainy and herbal nose, a bit of corn in there? Sweetish and corny, nice enough hops. Crisp, decent but not great.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is corn, straw, wheat. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, crisp, light finish, good.

Can 35,5 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small, white head. Sweet malt aroma, subtle grassy hops, subtle sulphur. Medium body, very sweet malt - and nothing much else to be honest. A decent Lager, but I honestly cannot taste the Craft.... 010616

Draft. Clear pale yellow color, white head. Pretty average pale lager, with a peppery aroma and crisp finish. Decent enough.

Can from Liz. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is a little bready and lightly spicy. Med body til carb leaves. Flavor is bready, mildly noble, and it unfortunately ends rather grainy. And a little bitter.

$9.99 for a six pack at Liquor Shed in Casper. Canned 17th of March 2014.
It pours a clear and bright straw yellow with a 3 finger head of foam, does well with the lacing.
It smells grainy, earthy, slightly sweet. Overall, right for the style.
Nice tasting brew. The grain isn’t overwhelming, good solid malt presence that has some sweetish notes and there’s a nice bit of a hoppy bite that brings a flavourful balance to this Lager. Easy drinking, smooth, tasty, yes, I like this.
Creamy mouthfeel and so drinkable, almost a session beer by US standards but not quite. Still, I could enjoy putting away a few cans of this Craft Lager and not feel guilty. Upslope is a solid brewery in my book.
