Shaker pint draft at the Highlands Alehouse in Aspen, Colorado. The pour is a clear golden with a one inch white head with a ton of carbonation bubbles. The aroma is malt grain with a bit of corn and not much else. The taste is typical American Lager, sweet grain malt. Clean though dull. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a mostly clean finish. There is a bit of sweet corn in the aftertaste.

12oz can pours with a clear bright golden body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up malty sweet lemons and then earthy lime mixed with a pleasing yet faint doughy note. The taste hits the ‘refreshing’ button with crisp lemon enhanced grapefruit hops that have a modest sweet thin malt backbone. I also get a light bready sort of doughy note that surfaces about midway and pulls this thing together. Nice Pale Lager that stays fresh and crisp and it also stays far from being too sweet.

Tap at Fresh Craft, Denver. Poured a clear light amber with no head at all. The aroma is malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a malty yeast watery palate. Not a classic.

12oz can picked up at Wilburs
Pours clear straw golden with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma of malts, straw and honey. Flavors straw, honey and sweet berries
Too sweet to be refreshing in hot weather, which I think a good Lager should be. Not bad, just blah......

Sample at Dad & Dude’s. The beer is a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head that recedes to a film quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and mild hops. Light body with flavors of bready malt, grain and lightly bitter hops. The finish is short and malty. Barely average overall.

Can - clear gold pour - fairly basic nose and light noble hop, pale malt sweetness - not enough happening in the aroma to cover up the obvious diacetyl - slick texture but light body - taste is initially of peanut skins and copper - metallic character persists throughout, but some semi-dry, clean maltiness and a moderate saaz bite make things a little more bearable - a bit of tangy lemon - peanut skin returns in the finish - lingering metallic character - I have to say that I kind of expected this from this brewery, but still I am disappoint.
