On tap at the brewery. A bit hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma and taste of grain, some yeast, fruit and malt. Kind of soft and easy to drink.

Tap @ Mikkeller Tokyo. Hazy orange pour, some thick foam on top at first but comes down quickly. Sweetish candy sugar nose, honey and lots of flower powder. Herbal. Tastes malty herbal with lots of wild spices added. Sweet honey and malty vase bitterness. Meadow character, whatever that means. Pretty good, I was just hoping for something funky and this is not exactly that.

4 oz. taster at the source. Appearance is a dirty golden color. Nose of peppery yeast, mild wheat. Flavor has the yeast forward and the strain is classic and texture and flavor. Zesty pepper and mild wheat, straw, grainy. Nicely refreshing texture. Well made.

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with orange pulp, loads of honey, cantaloupe, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with honeydew, clover honey, fruity esters, light grassy hops, light and refreshing. On tap at brewery.

Poured up on tap at Wilderness where it has a nice looking semi opaque deep gold colored body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up sweet fruity red apples and a bit of peach mixed with muted apricot amid soft modest Saison like yeasty spices. The taste delivers fresh notes of Saison yeasty spices with apple to dry apricot fruit notes and then quickly getting into brighter and somewhat punchy notes such as a bit of citrus tartness to midway. It smooths out as the finish approaches where a bit of maltiness and malt graininess are noticed and they help tie this together. Pretty nice American Saison but a little too heavy and sweet compared to some Belgian Saisons Iβve enjoyed.
