From Clownoiseur (2017 bottle): thanks: pours clear light brown with a khaki head. Aroma is wood, smoke, some dark fruitiness and spice. Taste is mildly smoky. Somewhat sweet and a tad fruity. Interesting but not my favourite in the realm of smoked beers. I wonder if the age negatively impacted it in any way...

Bottle shared by Jeff, thanks! Pours a clear amber with a copper hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has an earthy smoke with grains and straw supporting. Flavor has a bacony smoke with a light sweetness and grain backing.

50cl bottle pours a muddy brown with some spotty, white head. Nose has rye bread, spruce, some smoke. Flavor has malt, brown sugar, spruce, smoke, metal. Full bodied but dry. Probably should have been a train wreck, but it wasn’t. 6 3 6 3 12

Shared with Drake at the great Meaty Odd Tasting of 2018 at my house. Aroma is red fruit, weird shit, caramel, light vanilla. Flavor is awesomely smoked love, rubber, wood, earth, brown grass, brown leaf. Really nice smoked flavor.

Half liter bottle from the brewery and shared with hershiser2 and Mika. Clear dark red, large frothy tan head, good retention. Aroma of smoke, juniper, roast, a bit of caramel. Taste is smoke, caramel, roast, juniper, hints of cherry. Medium bodied, low carbonation. Decent.

Bottleshare @ Yggdrasil Brewing pre-open. Amber, lightly brown pour. Some beige foam. Smoke and rye bread in the nose, leather and light peat. Tastes smoked, grainy base, iburikakko with some strong malty base bitterness. Light sweetish finish. Dry and lingering .
