We're pleased to introduce Jester King AURASTONE -- a beer brewed with a heavy amount of oats and spelt, refermented with peaches and apricots from 2016 分 桃 (Fēn Táo) and Aurelian Lure, aged in chardonnay and sauvignon blanc barrels for 18 months, and finished with powdered lime leaf and pink sea salt!
Aurastone is 4.9% alcohol by volume, 13 IBU, 3.3 pH and has a finishing gravity of 1.003 (0.75 Plato). This is our first ever blend. It was packaged on April 12th, 2018 and 100% naturally refermented in bottles and kegs.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8.5
Draft. A- Sour, tart, vinous, stone fruit. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Sour, tart, wine grapes, apricot. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, tart finish. O- Refreshing and a bit effervescent. Really nice with hints of stone fruit such as apricot and peach with a touch of funk but not overdone.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong stone fruit, grape skin, oak, funk. Thin body, apricot flesh, grape, oak, light acidity, nice tartnes, enoyed this.
