Lots of foam when pouring. Aroma is nice, fresh and sour with leathery and earthy notes. Also some sour apple. Reminds me of orval. Way too much CO2 on palate, it foams so much in my mouth that I can hear the noise. Flavour is sour with earthy notes and some warming alcohol. This has some elements from an aged belgian ale. Interesting and nice.

Bottle. Pours a light hazy golden, with a full head. Aroma is burned malt, with notes of cereal and dark, dried fruits. Flavour has lots of dark fruits and heavy malts, combined with a good bitterness. A fabulous beer.

33cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured brownish color with a huge lacing white head. Sweet, fruity and spicy aroma. Flavor was caramel malt, pineapple and spices. Very enjoyable strong ale. Another great beer from this brewery!

Würziger und ziemlich hefiger Antrunk mit leichter und passender Säuerlichkeit. Aus der im Mittelteil schwächer werdenden Hefigkeit entwickelt sich eine typisch kräuterartige Würzigkeit, die aber nicht allzulange anhält. Erst flacht sie etwas ab und wird dann von einer hellmalzigen Note abgelöst, die im Abgang dunkler wird und schokoladenartige Aromen entwickelt. Im Abgang zudem wenig fruchtig-hefig, kurzzeitig alkoholisch-kratzig. 13/11/12/11/13/11

Hazy red copper colour, fluffy white head. Aroma of yeast, burned malts, sweet, fruit and some coffee tones. Some slightly sour twang. Flavour has burned malts, hops and burned malts bitterness, quite sweet and a pronounced tartness. (draught -taster- @ the brewery)

Copper brown beer with a huge and beige head. Aroma is complex, fruits, bananas, tripel like spicyness, green apples and some sourness. Taste is more sour than aroma, spicyness, black peppers, some fruits and roastiness and drying end. Nice to drink, with quite a lot of carbonation. Nice, tastefull and again the high quality beer from t’ IJ.
