An amber, craft beer with generous amounts of hops and alcohol. This copper-gold beer is a real heavyweight and a must for beer lovers. The liberal quantities of malt and bitter hops create a complex, full flavour. It starts as slightly sweet with malty aromas of chocolate, fruit and grain, while the bitter hops stand out nicely in the aftertaste. A feast for the connoisseur!

Bottled. Orange colour with a high initial carbonation of a light beige head with good duration. Aroma is caramelish, malty, yeasty. Flavor is caramel, bready with notes of caramel; in spite that this beer is Dutch has notes of Belgian yeast. Sweet and alcoholic final.

Thanks to OleR for sharing a 330ml bottle at Håndverkerstuene. Lasting, lacing-layer covering a cloudy golden body. Dried fruity and mid-sweet malts to the nose. Rounded flavour of dried fruits alongside yeasty fruits and spices upheld by citrus bitterness towards the ending. Alcohol warmth. Satisfying (Oslo, 15.09.2012).

33cl bottle at Håndverkerstuene, Oslo. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of caramel, malt and fruits with hints of spices. Sweet and malty with a caramel flavour. A bit too sweet for me, but some bitterness in the finish makes it ok. (2012-09-15)

Bottle shared from Deanso. Pours slightly hazy dark golden with a big off white head. Aroma is sour, barnyard and cat pee - should it be like this? Maybe infected bottle. Flavour is medium sweet, light sour and light bitter, really doesn’t seem right. Medium bodied with soft to moderate carbonation.

Clear amber body. Off-white, large, rocky head that lasts long. Nice looks. Aroma of caramel, raisins, bit hops, spices: complex and very interesting. Lightly sour, heavily bitter flavour: ok balance but not as complex as the aroma - even bit odd. Metallic mouthfeel. Heavily carbonated.
