Cask at Foeders, Amsterdam. Very hazy golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of grain, yeast, damp, oats, herbs, light fruit esters and citric notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light sour. Light to medium bodied with soft very soft carbonation. This was never going to be the best beer ever but it’s really interesting to try. Respect to the brewer for making the effort to recreate this historical recipe.
