Originally rated October 2004. Sampled from a 500ml brown bottle. Poured a hazy golden / lemon yellow colour with a white head of medium size, leaving a bit of lacing. Lots of sediments were left at the bottom of the bottle. The nose was of herbal scents with hints of lemon and mint. The mouth was of nice wheat flavour mixed in with spices. The mouthfeel was formed from a very fine carbonation. A very refreshing Weisse brew for those hot summer days, but very enjoyable now that the cold season is among us.

On tap at Ølbaren. An unclear, orange-yellow body is topped by a finger-thick, off-white to white head leaving lacings. The aroma has oranges, pale malts, cloves and a slight sickingly note I don’t recognize. The flavor starts with grainy pale malts and coriander. Some bitterness chimes in, as do the cloves and banana. Medium body, smooth and maybe a bit dry. Bitter and fruity finish. Not your ordinary hefeweizen, but quite tasteful anyway. Quenching too. 110527

500ml bottle poured a hazy yellow with very little light passing thru. Thin white head. Aroma of bananas and bubblegum. Perfect traditional hefe, appearance and nose. Rather highly carbonated. Taste mirrors the aroma in every sense. The one downfall is it is a little light bodied. However, drinkability is really high. A very smooth hefe! I would buy again any day and twice on Tuesday.
