Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - almost jet black. Tan head. Nose - dark chocolate dominated by mint. Taste - it's all mint and dark chocolate again. Not really getting anything from the malts. Palate - medium bodied. Creamy sweetness that is cleansed somewhat by the freshness of the mint. Overall - a bit one dimensonal but pleasant.

Cask-conditioned at the Rook & Gaskill (JDW), York, March 2020. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Deep plain chocolate notes, rich toasty malts, a hint of leafy hop, leading to a dryish finish with subtle mint notes. Excellent.
