A campfire in a glass, this robust beauty has seductive notes of vanilla, smoked cedar, and mulling spices on the nose. A dark pour with mild lacing, she is a rollercoaster of lush chocolate and fig fruits diving into a semi-dry finish of truffle and cherry.

Enjoyed on tap at Watercourse in Denver, CO while on vacation. I didn't take tasting notes, but remember this being a delicious dark porter with sweet notes of chocolate and light marshmallow. Would have again.

Pours dark but really brown, delicate head, not too much of it. Looks somewhat hazy - although its dark so even if it was translucent, I wouldn’t see through. I was trying to pair it with a steak, so probably should have read about this chocolate thing before. Aroma was sweetish, loads of vanilla and a bit of milk chocolate together with ginger bread. Taste was more of the same, vanilla, ginger bread and spicy milk chocolate. Smoke as well, and I liked that part. Just a hint of roast malts, sweet and velvety mouthfeel. Overall, I guess would be nice next to a campfire, a bit too much of vanilla for me. Don’t really know what Graham Crackers are, but based on this beer can guess that they are not bad :D

12 oz. can. Black pour, with a medium, frothy, light brown head. The nose is molasses, dark chocolate, chicory, and some light peat. Sweet and very malty, with a light bitterness that balances quite nicely. Medium to heavy body, chalky, syrupy, and thick. This is a fun, well-made, and tasty porter.

Can from Tanakaya. Drank straight from the can. Good chocolate aromas with some light roasted malt, cinnamon and graham crackers. Taste is quite similar with less of the graham crackers and more of the roasted malt and chocolate. Fairly light bodied and well-balanced albeit a tad sweet. Nice enjoyable porter. --- Beer merged from original tick of Beer Graham Cracker Porter on 26 Aug 2015 at 19:50 - Score: 7

Can from Antenna America. This is a GABF Bronze Medal Winner in the 2011 Specialty Beer Category. Pouring pitch black into my pint glass with a tan head, it’s a good looking beer. The aroma is a luscious chocolate with light graham biscuit notes. Fairly light bodied, the taste is sweet vanilla, bitter chocolate syrup and mild graham. If you’re looking for a sweet Porter this’ll fit the bill nicely.

Can. A- Roasty, cocoa, slightly woody, slightly smoky, spice. A- Black color, dark liquid, light brown head. T- Cocoa, roasty, slightly smoky, slightly bitter, malty, dry. P- Medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation, dry finish. O- This certainly didn’t taste anything like graham cracker or the likes. Mostly a roasty dry bland porter. Standard at best.

This beer pours a dark brown color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate and vanilla. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, graham crackers and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt and graham cracker aftertaste. Decent overall.
