Cask. Half pint. 5.Jul.2012 My first beer after a pleasant and interesting walk with Rune & Stefan to The Crescent in Salford, Manchester. I decided to start the day with White Which because of the name, as I loved watching Narnia when I was little. It turned out to be a good choice. Clear yellow body with spare creamy head. Cheese, sweat, damp basement and mold to the nose. Thus the taste was a surprise, sweet and malty, some grain, vanilla, flowers and hint of herbs. Surprisingly full bodied!

Half pint, hand-pulled ale at Crescent in Salford. Creamy white head leaving dotted spots behind. Clear golden body. Smell of resinous hops followed by a fruit-bitter, half-dry taste profile. Mild bittersweet tail. Soft and smooth in the mouth. Fresh and nice British-German brew (Greater Manchester, 05.07.2012).

Cask. Yellowish golden colour with a minor head. Aroma is fruits, honey, some citrus as well as some bready, but quite sweet maltyness. Flavour is citrus, honey, some mild fruity/nectary notes with mild floral and grassy hops as well. Quite bitter smooth finish.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of barley and wheat. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of flowers, leading to a lightly bitter finish.
