Sampled from tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of lemon, wheat and straw. Sourish-fruity taste of lemon, gooseberry, some rhubarb and wheat, followed by a short, slightly tart, a little minerally finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly spritzy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Max & Stas. Hazy golden. Aroma of yogurt, lime, a bit of mint. Tart flavor with yogurt, lime, a bit of mint, and nice saltiness. Rather light-bodied. Interesting and refreshing.

Bouteille 33cl de Solaris, Tallinn, BB24.09.2016, batch# 021. Dorée sur léger toruble, col blanc, fin crémeux. Arôme au nez typiquement de mojito, retrouve des effluves de ’lime’, petite note de menthe avec un rétro sour mash grains de Gose, un léger côté salin/minéral perce en rétro-nasal. Palais est léger sas pour cela tomber dans l’aigrelet extrême. L’alliance feuilles de menthe et ’lime’ est plaisant et ranche bien avec l’apport fin salé du style. Je m’attendais, vu les scores, à une bière qui en fait trop, et au final le résultat est très plaisant, ayant le mérite d’essayer. Le tout se termine légèrement râpeux avec une petite note de picotement en bouche, surement du profil minéral.

Pours hazy pale. Not much foam. Aroma has mint and citrus, just as promised. Taste has the same flavours but malt is also coming through. I would have liked it drier and more salty. Overall quirky and interesting brew. Cheers for experiments!

Thanks to jinroh for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing a well filtered golden amber with no head. The nose shows a lot of citric lime. Not much else. The palate shows the citric lime forwardness that immediately fades away to bready malts that stay from the mid-palate to the finish. Lightly carbonated and light bodied, some lime appears on the linger. Leaves too much to be desired.

Bottle shared at Ratebeer Tokyo W & CB Tasting. Thanks for the bottle Raul! Big mojito-like nose, mint, lime and light citrus all present. Lots of lime on the palate with more mint aromas. Finish is malty with a bit of lime. Some light salt that lingers as well. On tap (Sori Havana Gose with Lime & Mint) at Pudel, Tallinn. Close to clear orange to amber with a fast dissipating head. Fairly mild fruity aroma with notes of citrus and mint. Moderate sweet with nice acidity and a flavour that in the end reminds me a little bit of watered out Caipirinha. Guess the lime and mint combination works with beer too, then. Quite refreshing, but as with caipirinha I guess it would be nicer on a hot summer day or in more topical areas than on a winter day in Tallinn. Still quite nice and certainly more refreshing than expected.

Tap at Hopfenreich. Slight hazy light golden with white head. Light dough and gooseberries, fresh mint, lime, bit of the Margharita I had earlier comes to mind again, though that had way more aroma than this. It’s really fresh with the lime and mint quite in the background. Light sour, just a hint of sweetness and The salt is also light here. Thin bodied.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Slightly unclear yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are both very salty, pretty sour and a lot of lime. Although the beer exactly tastes like it says it will taste, well, I still don’t like it. Worse even, can’t drink this. Credits for saying on the label what it is -so why did I buy it? Curiousity I guess..- but I hate it.
