Super refreshing, super sour & super salty. You can only use superlatives when talking about this beer. Seasoned with Himalayan rock salt, fresh mint and lime peel. Complex and sessionable ale for any occasion.

Gose is a 1000-year-old beer style that almost disappeared in the 20th century. This sour and salty wheat ale has now made a comeback! Havana Gose is our sour rebel inspired by the Mojito drink and the warm beaches of Cuba.

Bottle @ benzai. Chunks, hazy orange and an medium sized white head. Smells anice, dropshot, sambuca. Tastes salty liquorice with lime. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Medium body, soft carbo.

Tap@Simon The Tanner, Bermondsey, London - orange to amber pour with white head. Aroma and taste is medium sour fruity and salty, some zesty lemon notes, grass, light spice and some definite nuance of mint, very different but not really my thing.

Bottled@AIH53 (from Lumo, Rauma). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is lime and mint along with some malts, which gives a kind of liquorice root like aroma. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild salty notes.

Bottle 330ml (AIH53)
Murky orange-pinky color, not much head. Aroma has mint, salt, tart lime. Light-bodied. Fruity tart rhubarb flavor. Mint leaves and lime are there, and salt. Does not work together at all. Some kind of new hangover drink? Gose ...

Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. A thoroughly odd sesame - savoury start. A Mojito like lime, lime peel and milt mint ensue. As the beer warms up the sesame fades but it’s still an odd beer. On paper should work, but something is a little off here.

A dark yellow, a head is very small and blond. Aroma has lemon, sourness and mint. Fresh. Taste has lemon, mint and some salt. Sourness is mild. Quite light bodied, low carbonation. Strong mint and less would be better. Fresh but this isn’t totally my thing.

Bottle. Coriander (cilantro), mint, lime and some wheat. Somewhat sweet and sour. Dry finish. More sourness wouldn’t hurt.

330ml bottle from K-Supermarket Postitalo, Helsinki. Pours murky orange with a small head. Aroma of lime, tartish notes, hints of sourness, mint and lactic notes. Taste is salty, juicy and slightly fruity with hints of berries, lime and mint. Finish is dry, slightly lactic with some very mild lime notes. A bit untypical gose. Not much sourness here.
