(Draught at Mikkeller Stockholm, 4 June 2014) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity, yeasty nose with citrus, dried fruit, orange peel, oak wood, crisp-bread and spicy yeast. Fruity, yeasty taste with notes of dried fruit, apricots, orange peel, an earthy yeast character and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Spicy, tasty and quite interesting. Nice one.

Enjoyed on tap at Mikkeller Bar in Stockholm while hanging out with friends. Appearance was a darkish brown with little to no white head. Aroma of sour cherries, wood barrel, and booze...much more so than the BA St Emilion). Taste was pretty good, more tame in terms of funk than the BA St Emilion, but also a better sense of the barrel. Happy to have tried this.
