Recently named “3rd Best Craft Beer in the Hudson Valley” by TAP NY, Dirty is an American style-wheat beer with a twist. Brewing this beer with American ale yeast keeps it light and refreshing. An enormous Cascade and Centennial dry hop gives this beer a strong grapefruit aroma and a pleasant citrusy flavor.

Draught @ the source. Clear golden with small foamy whitish head, faint malt aroma, high carbonation, bitter malty taste, thin body, medium bitter finish. Nothing spectacular.

Bottle shared. Thanks TimE. A little bit of musty grapefruit and peach, some bandaid notes. Lightly infected, but still enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Adirondack Dirty on 03 Jun 2016 at 20:05 - Score: 6. Original review text: Lightly infected but drinkable.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden orange to yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds. Light speckled lacing roams around the glass.
The smell starts off with some peach inducing a light herbal/grassiness leading into a semi-sweet citrus. A light rind-like quality runs into combine.
The taste moderately blends the citrus with the peach and the herbal/grassiness. A light amount of citrus blends into the aftertaste and leads to a wet citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light and still the bitterness is mainly subdued.
Overall, not a bad beer, but I don’t see it as a wheat ale. Probably could have again for me.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy golden, thin fizzy off-white head. Decent retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, pale malt. The taste is tropical fruits, pretty tart, lemon, piney notes, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering tartness and bitterness.

Bottle. Lemon-lime malt and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large head. Sweet tangy lime malt and moderately bitter lime/orange peel flavor. Not bad.

At a tasting, thanks zvsn, big and gushing bubbly head, citrusy aroma with some pine and a hint of olive, strong sour vinegar flavour with hints of yogurt and fruit, very light bitterness, Unbalanced and really strange.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks zvsn. Slightly hazy golden with a big white head. Decent citric hops aroma, slightly stale. Sourish and fruity flavor with a bit of graininess and faint hoppiness. Rather light-bodied. Seems like something went wrong with this one, sourness is completely out of place. Still drinkable though.

A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, light fruity malt with light grassy hops, soso. In mouth, a crisp malt with light mineral notes, grassy hop, boring. On tap at Empire Brewfest 2014.
