Red Rocket Ale is a bastardized Scottish style red ale that traces it’s origins to our homebrew roots. This full bodied and hoppy brew finishes on the palate with sweet, caramel malt flavors.

355ml bottle. Color is deep mahogany with a thick beige head. Aroma has citrusy notes and dark bread is dominating. Flavor has sweet fruits, dark bread, caramel and nutty notes. Bitter hoppy finish with caramel and citrusy notes. Quite tasty, medium bodied. Maybe not that fresh, but still enjoyable as it is.

Clear red beer with an off-white head and a slight fizz to it. You get a bit of hop and malt in the aroma but it’s surprisingly ;light on that front. The taste is much stronger though. A big initial hit of hopand then what follows is an ever so slightly fruity malt flavour. The aftertaste is interesting, starting with the malt and then fading and leaving the hop to linger.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark red with a bunch of chunks floating around. Aroma of caramel with herbal and floral hops. Taste is light bitter. Resinous pine and herbal hops. Full bodied with a slightly sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a super long, lasting finish. Overall, pretty good. Im wondering if i may have an old bottle though.

Bottle at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Red brown in colour, with minimal head. Almost like a fruit beer, strong aroma of strawberry, with biscuit. Sweet. OK, but not as good as I’d expected it to be.

355ml bottle from Ales by Mail
Pours reddish brown with a large foamy head. Aroma of sweet syrupy malts, hints of piney, resiny and grassy hops, caramel, toffee and spices. Taste is sweetish, malty and syrupy with some resiny grassy hoppiness and spicy notes. Finish is hoppy, spicy and malty. Okay, quite balanced.
