Hazy yellow, bit of white foam. Aroma is herbal and yeasty. Some sweet corn in the background though. Taste is sourish, wheat is there, some cloves and just a bit of banana. Sweetish and little metallic in the finish. Overall not bad but just barely making the mark.

Can from Seijo in Shinjuku station. Drank from the can. Sweet, candy sugar, malty nose with some light spice. Body is uber thin, with good carbonation though. Again sweet on the palate and not weizen-like at all. Borderline cloying, and almost like a witbier with sugar. Needs a lot of work. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nagahama WZN Special on 15 Jul 2016 at 20:08 - Score: 5. A new release from Nagahama Roma Beer is their Nagahama WZN Special available at all Liquor Mountains. It's a cloudy light gold with a huge thick head of foam. The aroma is an eggy wheaty cloves. The taste is kind of rough grains with a sharp artificial sweetener flavor and raspy carbonation. Kind of a letdown though my wife seems to enjoy it enough. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Liquor Mountain. Doughy nose, clove, dandy. Sweet, spicy flavor, a bit of banana, some sweet peach, biscuit. Orange-gold color with a tall head. Not bad, but a bit too sweet and candyish.
