Quite light, tastes like it may be yuzu. A little floral but quite refreshing.

Tap at iBrew. Pale blonde, bit hazy, small white bubbly head. Aroma is light citrus. Lemon and bit of orange. Taste is nice, subtle citrus, orange and lemon, slight sourness, bit floury but just a hint. Nice and crisp. Bitter citrus finish. Very easy drinking. Maybe a touch thin, but definitely a thirst quencher.

Takeout tap at CBM Koenji. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates quickly. Light grainy malt nose with clean and fresh citrus zest with a touch of tangerine. Fruit is well-integrated. Nice clean grain-forward flavors on the palate with a rush of tangerine and hyuganatsu that shine. Easy drinking, with the finish being zesty and refreshing. Bottle in Hongkong. Fresh sourish nose. The beer starts fresh with hints of lemon, bitter mainpart, fresh, easy to drink. Nice bitter lemon aftertaste, hints of yeast, smooth, fresh, not bad.

Tap at Devil’s Craft, Tokyo. Golden color, small white head. Citrusy, orange peel aroma. Light-bodied. Citrus, lime peels, honeyish maltyness in the flavor. Simple and refreshing.

Draft. 650 yen for a half-pint at Qbrick. 5%  a clear straw gold pour with a mild lemon aroma. The taste is like a lemonade alcopop, a lemon lager for summer. Nice but not as smooth as it could be. Ok. --------------Bottle named Miyazaki no Minori Hyuganatsu part of the Miyazaki Agriculture Support Project. 5% Bottle from Aeon Mall Kyoto, 514 yen incl. tax. Another incredibly pale opaque star gold pour with a thick fizzy white head though this one seems to leave more lacing and foam behind. Tons of citrus hyuganatsu notes and a good dose of zest in the aroma. The mouthfeel is a bit rough, sharp carbonation. The taste is pretty pithy with lots of sour/bitter citrus quite a strong flavor. I think I like the aroma on the hyuganatsu more but the taste of the kinkan better. Still it is ok, though more of a fruit seltzer cocktail than a very beer like beverage.

Tap at Ant n Bee, Tokyo. Straw yellow colour with a white head. Citrus aroma. Sweet citrus, malt flavour.

cloudy white color. Sweet pugnant citrusy nose. Sweet mouth with lots of Mikan notes, but not balanced with enough acidity and should be a bit drier. Nice refreshing beer, but could use a bit of tweaking.

Draught at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. Light, pale yellow color. Nice ciotrus aroma. Nice, fresh, taste, not sweet, good sour edge. Decent enough beery lager flavor backing up the fruit.
