Really kind of neat take on a sour. Hop aroma. Flavor’s hop, citrus fruit and pith, malt, just right sour matched perfectly with the carbonation. Super drinkable.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a sly transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Thin white foamy head dissipated at a nice pace. Semi-rimmed lacing slides into the beer.
The smell starts off with some ripe sweet grape skin, tart apple, sour green apple. Then luscious sweet grass, sly sweet lemon.
The flavor takes in all of the previously mentioned flavors to combine and bring about the sourness a bit forward than the sweetness. Subtle sweetness in the aftertaste. And breaks down appropriately in the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a mostly smooth/rounded sweet to sour harshness hitting my tongue. Unlike a fair amount of other American sour/wild ales, this one definitely hits a lot more smoother.
Overall, since the harsh \"sour\"ness is quite smoothed out and not as strong in this one, I’d say this would be a great starter AWA for noobies, still I’d have this again.

Bottle from a :Lazy Dog Mostly clear deep yellow with a huge rocky white head that persists. Resinous pine hop on the nose with faint malt underneath. Lightly tart with lemon and cherry and plenty of resinous earthy hops to counter. The tartness is subtle but I really enjoyed the complexity it adds to this beer.
