A Unique Dry-Hopped Sweet Tart Sour Mash Ale. We soured the wort on the Hot Side with Lactobacillus for a few days and then brewed up this smooth and hoppy sour. It tastes like a big bowl of fruity candy or some chewable flavored vitamins, but what's the difference? It's sweet, tart, and sassy, just like the tasty cherry pie that your favorite aunt makes. For all the Aunt Sally's out there, You know who you are...

12 ounce bottle. Bright yellow gold color capped by a moderate frothy white head. Sweet fruity malt nose with earthy sour notes. First sip brings tart barnyard funk and citric notes. Hints of Lemon and berry, as well. Finish has apple cider and lemon peel. Spicy hops as well. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a frothy white head and aromas of lemon zest. Flavor is like grapefruit peel with lemon juice added for good measure. A bit unbalanced and peel-like, but decent. Quite sour.

$2.00 bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours golden with a large white head. Lemongrass and lemonhead aroma. Quite interesting flavor. First sip I didn’t care for it so much, but second I started to like it. Liquid lemonheads, lemongrass, regular grass. Sour, slightly sweet. Very interesting.

Tap market district robinson. Pale. Somewhat per-fumy IPA aroma.Good tart palate. Taste is IPA but with a lemon citrus twist. Yea, perhaps that tart sweeter lemonade twist makes this somewhat IPA-ish beer a little more acceptable! Didn’t know what to expect, pleasantly surprised. Glad to have the chance to taste this.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper color with moderate head. Aromas of jammy tropical fruit, spicy resin, and muddled citrus. Flavors of limes, lemon gummy bears, sour tropical fruit, and light toasted malts. Tart. Super.

Bottle. A- Citrus, subtle spice. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Citrus, lemon zest, slight funk. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, mild finish. O- A fun sour. Not really that sour, not really that funky. Really good, but it has a feel to it that just isn’t common in the sours I come across. Maybe it’s the dry hopping. It’s tasty and refreshing.
