Jungle Boogie isn’t your typical wheat beer–which is why it consistently ranks among the top wheat beers in the country. Instead of a light and bready cracker profile, Jungle Boogie uses a grain bill of mixed wheat to provide a body of light caramel and amber sweetness. That sweetness provides the platform for the fruity Rooibos tea to build a tower full of ripe stone fruit. Finishing the fermentation with a minimal dry hop of Mosaic further buttresses the fruity characteristics of the tea, while providing a lightning rod to unite the whole with a vibrant current of bright flavor. Light and colorful, Jungle Boogie is the perfect beer to pair with almost any dish and a welcome libation to both longtime fans of craft beer as well as those averse to overly malty or hoppy brews.

355ml can from Pien, Helsinki. Canned 8/31/17. Smooth, spicy and wheaty yeasty with some tea, fruits, floral notes and citrusy lemon notes. Okay, despite its not very fresh.

35,5 cl can @ olio. Canned 31.8.2017
Aroma has peach and vanilla sauce. Flavour has peaches, tart-ish berry juice and some fruitiness. Not exactly my thing, I find the tartness a bit offesive here.

Deep fairly hazy amber and coppered coloured body with a nice, relatively soapy off-white head, one to two centimetres tall. Aroma of flowers, light tea notes, some earthy and herbal funk with a very mild sweetness noticeable at the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and herbal notes with a nice tea and subtley smooth fruit note towards the end with some sweetness and a round complexity. Aftertaste shows mostly the tea flavours from the rooibos and the earthy flavours of the malts with a little sweetness and a smooth yeastie bite towards the end that just adds to the complexity of the flavours. Overall, a nice and inviting beer with a lot of flavours for the depth and a good range of tea to hops to mild malts and a subtle sweetness towards the end. Relatively dry and enjoyable in warmer weather without being cloying! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can purchased from Habersham Beverage Warehouse in Savannah, Georgia (Abercorn Street) on 04-May-2018 for US$4,02 sampled in my hotel room here in Orlando, Florida on 05-May-2018 a day later.
