Tasting at the ever gracious ChrisO’s. Light haze on this deep red -amber beer. Small pale tan head. Palate is light and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Very light sourness in the dark malts. Touches of dark chocolate and paper. Mild bitterness. Light dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Not bad.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. MOderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Not great roasted notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Not a good porter. Unbalanced.
